SB 92 – Motor Vehicle Safety is NOT that

VOTE NO on bill SB 92 Motor Vehicle Safety Senate Tracker SB 92

This bill will require two things:

  1. Every car to have a front and back license plate, increasing our registration fees as well as costing the car owner expense of finding someone to install a front vehicle holder on models not made for that
  2. Require repair shops to report $2500 repairs to State Law Enforcement.  Even simple repairs are $2500 these days.

This is government overreach as well as adding more bureaucracy in state departments costing all tax payers more money!

Email your legislature NOW.

Kill DEI once and for all.  Return to competency-based hiring and merit-based promotion. We are facing reverse discrimination and losing what so many worked so hard for many years.  Diversity is good, equal opportunity is good but equity?  None of us can have the same outcomes other than our inalienable rights!

ACTION on SB-196 – Requires labeling food containing vaccines

Take action now and email all the FL Senators listed below to advise them to vote YES on SB-196!! Every email helps.

SB 196 would change the definition of “drug” to include food that contains vaccines or vaccine materials. It defines “vaccine or vaccine material” as a substance authorized or approved by the FDA to stimulate immunity. SB 196 says a food is deemed to be misbranded if it “contains a vaccine or vaccine material unless its label bears the words ‘contains vaccine or vaccine material’ and specifies that the food is classified as a drug under the Florida Drug and Cosmetic Act.”

We should know if the food we buy contains vaccines.

Just like we label GMO foods, this will help us understand what we are putting in our bodies.  MAHA is helping us see the errors we made of years listening to food industries dictate our health!

TAKE ACTION Florida Term Limits Bills moving through next week

Senate bill SJR 536 “Term Limits Applicable to State Representatives and State Senators” & SJR 802 “Term Limits for Members of Boards of County Commissioners and District School Boards” will be heard next Monday, March 17, 2025, in the Senate Ethics and Elections Committee.

SJR 536 is a Constitutional Amendment that would give voters in the 2026 general election the chance to limit lawmakers to eight years each in the Senate and the House, and foreclosing their path to return to a seat they previously held after being out of it for a period of time. SJR 536 would stop the practice of people continually running for the same office and bouncing back and forth between chambers.

SJR 802 create Term Limits for Members of Boards of County Commissioners and District School Boards; Proposing amendments to the State Constitution to provide 8-year term limits for members of boards of county commissioners and district school boards. Lawmakers approved, and the governor signed, a law in 2022 that limits school board members to 12 years. In 2023, lawmakers and the governor reduced that number to eight. The new legislation would prevent future legislatures from extending their tenure.

IMPORTANT UPDATE
SJR 536 and SJR 802 were scheduled to be heard in the Senate Ethics and Election Committee last Monday March 10th. Unfortunately, Senator Erin Grall filed amendments to the bills to extend term limits from 8 years to 12 years. The bills were temporarily postponed and rescheduled for this Monday, March 17th.
We oppose Senator Grall’s amendments to extend term limits to 12 years.

E-Mail Action Needed!
Please e-mail the following Republican members of the Senate Ethics and Elections Committee and tell them to Vote YES on SJR 536 and SJR 802 with 8-year term limits and tell them to oppose amendments that would extend term limits to 12 years.

Election Integrity NOT SB1414

Defend Florida has identified that in the current bill proposal, “The Florida’s Office of Election Crime and Security would be limited to only looking into “alleged criminal violation” and the part where they can currently look into “election irregularities” would be stricken.” How is this the GOLD Standard????
